The Rose Family

The rose is a rose,
And was always a rose.
But the theory now goes
That apple's a rose,
And the pear is and so's
The plum, I suppose.
The dear only know
What will next prove a rose.
You, of course, are a rose--
But were always a rose.

A rose wouldn't have been a rose
Without the loving heart of those
Who used to be warm and close

And this is how it always goes
We just keep our love flows
And the roses will fill our souls
With its joy and its repose

I promise to make it grows
These two roses that God chose
To lean on each other through these tough roads.
